Martha K. Kebert, 82, of 852 Leslie Road, Meadville, died Friday, June 16, 2006 at the Meadville Medical Center.
She was born at home on Hank Street in Meadville, January 25, 1924 a daughter of Edward Charles and Clara Helena Cook Hank. She married Albert W. Kebert January 5, 1946 and he preceded her in death February 13, 1985.
She had worked at the Meadville Telephone Co. and Steere’s Diary.
She was a graduate of St. Agatha High School having perfect attendance through all twelve grades. She was a member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church and its Alter and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Meadville Senior Center, West Mead VFD #1 Ladies Auxiliary, Konyeaut Kickers dance group and she was a Cub Scout leader and Brownie Leader. She also was an avid animal lover.
Survivors, include: one daughter, Kathleen Freeman and her husband Pat of Meadville; two sons, Alan J. Kebert and his wife Dorothy and Charles F. Kebert and his wife Ronnie of Guys Mills; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Kebert, Jeffrey Freeman, Ryan Freeman, Rebecca Pine, Frank Teed, Kelly Kebert and Michael Kebert; four great grandchildren and two sisters-in-law, Sarah Spayde and Peggy McGill.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Rebecca Kebert.
Memorial services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville with Rev. Richard Allen, Pastor of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, officiating.
