Martin L. Kloock, Jr.

Martin L. Kloock, Jr., 68, of Meadville, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at the Meadville Medical Center.

He was born in Unity Township, Westmoreland Co., PA, January 2, 1938 a son of Martin L. and Lavina Stockberger Kloock, Sr.  He married Virginia (Ginny) Petroy April 19, 1969 and she survives.

He retired in 1996 as an officer with the Pennsylvania State Police after 30 years of service.  In his retirement he also worked for Quest Diagnostics.  He served for three years in the Marine Corps.  He was an avid bowler, enjoyed  poker and coached Little League Baseball.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Ginny of 36 years, include a son, Martin L (Trey) Kloock, III (Donita) of Grove City; one daughter, Michele L. O'Brien (John) of Portland, OR; two sisters, Ruth Leonhart of Ligonier and Elaine Clawson (Richard) of Black Lick and one brother, Walter Kloock of Greensburg.

Services were held at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.
