Mary Ann Greggs Reed

Mary Ann Greggs Reed, 88, of Sunbury, Ohio, formerly of Grove City, Pennsylvania, passed away quietly with family by her side on August 19, 2021. Mary Ann was born on March 22, 1933 to David and Mae (McAnallen) Greggs in Jackson Township, Pennsylvania. She was one of 11 children. She was married to Richard Reed on July 15, 1952. Both her parents, her husband Richard, and most of her siblings preceded her in death, along with three sons: Thomas David, Edward George, and Larry Richard. Surviving are: beloved sister Phyllis Burdette of Bradley, Pennsylvania; several beloved sisters-in-law; daughter Pamela (Bud) Leskovac of Sunbury, Ohio; daughter-in-law Tracy Reed of Mercer, Pennsylvania; daughter-in-law Ginger (Jim) Rodgers of Amarillo, Texas; grandchildren Matt Reed, Jennifer (Jerrad) Bass, Kate (Jason) Steele, Mike (Tara) Leskovac, Dan (Alyssa) Reed, Travis (Kelby) Reed, Emily (Ben) Hulse, Jessica (Jeff Enriquez) Reed; great-grandchildren Justin Reed, Brooklyn, Sydney, and London Steele, Cohen and Zoey Leskovac, Thomas Enriquez, Maverick Reed, Gideon Hulse, Layken Morgan and Taylen Reed; countless beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins; and close friend Colleen Williams. Mary Ann loved her family and her extended family – including all of her precious nieces and nephews. She delighted in cooking, hosting parties, and baking pies. Family reunions, family gatherings – Mary Ann loved a celebration! She was a woman of strong Christian faith and was a long-time member of Fredonia Presbyterian Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, were family and friends are welcome from 4 pm – 7 pm on Monday, August 23. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 24, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Jennifer Bass, officiating.
