Mary B. Carle

Miss Mary B. Carle, 84, formerly of Union City, a resident of the United Methodist Home since March 1971, died at City Hospital Sunday, April  9, 1978, after an extended illness.

She was born at Union City April 20, 1893, a daughter of Leroy and Elvira Findley Carle.  She worked for many years on the office staff of Lord Manufacturing Co., Erie.  In her earlier years she worked for Shreve Chair Co., Union City.   She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Union City, and a graduate of Erie Business College.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Miss Doris Carle.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.
