Mary Berta Walker

Mrs. Mary Berta Walker, 86, wife of George Walker of Meadville, died at her home Saturday morning, October 25, 1958, after an illness of two years.

Mrs. Walker, a resident of Meadville for 32 years, was born in Farmington Township, Trumbull County, OH, September 3, 1872, a daughter of Thomas G. and Frances Harriet Haine Hawkins.

She married Walker, April 29, 1896, and was a teacher in the public schools for a short time.

She was a member of the Grace Methodist Church and a member of Mrs. Carr's Bible Class and the women's missionary society of that church.  She also attended Western Reserve Seminary at Farmington, OH.

She is survived by her husband.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Brownwood Cemetery, North Bloomfield, OH.
