Mary Ruth (Van Doren) Gaidosh

Mary Ruth Gaidosh, 94, of Meadville and a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community, died there, Saturday, November 20, 2021.

She was born July 22, 1927 in Watertown, NY a daughter of Dr. George B. and Ruth Van Doren.  She married Peter Gaidosh and he preceded her in death May 25, 2010.

She was a homemaker and previously had worked for the City of Meadville.

She is survived by two children, Brent Gaidosh of Conneaut Lake and Laurie Schultz (Steve) of Rio Rancho, NM; four grandchildren, Drew, Peter, Andrew and Casey; six great grandchildren, Aiyana, Kaiden, Donavyn, Connor, Ava and Brantley and a nephew, John Atkinson.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy; a niece, Karen and a nephew, Marty.

A private family service will be held in Greendale Cemetery with Rev. Timothy Solomon, Pastor of Emmanuel Community Church, officiating.
