Mary Gladys Besanson

Mary Gladys Besanson, 93, formerly of Conneaut Lake and a resident of Rolling Fields Nursing Home since September 2002, died there, Wednesday, November 9, 2006.

She was born in Union City, May 10, 1913 a daughter of Charles and Myrtle Tubbs Van Epps.  She married Rodney Joseph Besanson October 14, 1936 and he preceded her in death September 27, 1973.

She worked for a few years as a spinner at American Viscose Corp.  She enjoyed ceramics and was of the protestant faith.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews including Ted LeSuer of Jamestown, PA, Jane Wright of Franklin, Mary Ring of Florida, Charlotte Dohrty of Kent, OH and Eugene LeSuer of Dover, DE.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Van Epps and five sisters, Lucinda Cochran, Frances Babcock, Ida Emerson, Ila Roschie and Iva LeSuer.

Services were held at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
