Mary H. Fairchild

Mrs. Mary H. Fairchild, 70, a resident of Meadville for 40 years, died at home Thursday, December 26, 1957.

She was born February 19, 1887, at Oil City, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank D. Hubbard.  Her husband, Frank A. Fairchild, preceded her in death.  He was the manager of the local United Natural Gas Co. office for several years.

Mrs. Fairchild was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the church's missionary society and the Meadville Women's Club.

Survivors include a son, J. C. of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. E. T. Flynn of Oil City and Mrs. Frank Spatz of Cleveland, OH; a granddaughter, Susan Fairchild of Conneaut Lake; and a niece and two nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Grove Hill Cemetery, Oil City.
