Mary J. Haxton

April 16, 1860 — January 1, 1753

Miss Mary J. Haxton, who resided with her sister, Miss Euphemia Haxton, of Meadville, died Friday morning at Spencer Hospital where she had been the victim of an accident in which she had suffered a fractured hip.

The deceased was a charter member of the Park Avenue Congregational Church and for 35 years was the treasurer of its Women's Missionary Society.

Miss Haxton is survived by five sisters, Miss Euphemia Haxton and Mrs. Katherine Culbertson of Meadville, Mrs. C. J. Carew, Mrs. R. W. Simcox and Miss Beatrice Haxton of Beaver.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
