Mrs. Mary Junica Cocolin, 80, of Meadville, died Saturday, March 25, 1972, at Presbyterian University Hospital, Pittsburgh, where she had been a patient since Tuesday.
She was born at Sparta, Greece, on March 15, 1892. Mrs. Cocolin was the widow of George Cocolin who died in 1950. She and her husband operated a restaurant and confectionary business at Osceola Mills, Clearfield County, before moving to Meadville in 1950. Mrs. Cocolin was a member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church at Erie.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary Ann) Cogley of Clarion; seven sons, Gus, John, Arthur and Steven, all of Meadville, Thomas and Theodore, both of State College and George of Lakeland, FL; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Cocolin of Athens, Greece and Mrs. Anna Charos of Brooklyn; 27 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
