Mary Lou Cross, 79, of Centerville, died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at UPMC Hamot, Erie.

She was born July 9, 1935 in Meadville, a daughter of Adelmo Porfilio and Rose SanFelice.  She had been married to Grant Luzier and subsequently married Charles L. Cross December 5, 1988 and he survives.

Mary was a 1956 graduate of Meadville High School.  She worked at Channellock as an inspector and was a member of the Italian Civic Club, Meadville.

Mary was a member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Chuck, include six children, Thomas Luzier of Meadville, Roseann Peters of Erie, Cindy Cochran of Utica, Robert Luzier of Grove City, OH, Steven Luzier of Worthington, OH, and C.J. Cross of Youngsville; three sisters, Margaret McHale and her husband Patrick of Meadville, Hazel Steele of Meadville, and Elsie Graham and her husband Norman of Conneautville; twenty three grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Lucy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley K. Luzier; two sons, Regis and William; a granddaughter, Cheryl Parker; a brother, John Porfilio; and a sister, Rosalie Porfilio.

Calling hours are today (Tuesday) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville and Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. at St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Matthew Kujawinski as Celebrant.

Interment will be in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
