Mary Lou Weber

March 23, 1927 — December 3, 2020

Mary Lou Weber, 93, of Tequesta, FL and Meadville, died December 3, 2020 in Florida.

She was born March 23, 1927 in Meadville, a daughter of the late Leo G. and Mary Ludden McKenzie.  She married Glenn O. Weber on May 9, 1949 and he preceded her in death July 3, 2014, celebrating 65 years of marriage at that time.

Mary Lou was a 1945 graduate of St. Agatha High School and a lifetime member of St. Agatha Church.

Before becoming a homemaker, she was employed as a cashier at the A & P Grocery Store on Market Street and at the American Viscose.

In Tequesta, Mary Lou was a member of the Turtle Creek Country Club ‘Snappy Putters’ playing every Monday, fine tuning the short game to become club champion.  She also enjoyed playing Mahjong with her friends and visiting with neighbors.

She is survived by four children, Lorraine Dallas of Meadville, Amy Weber of Lemoyne, Beverly McLamb (James) of Meadville, and Warren A. Weber of Meadville.  Grandmother to Megan Quintero (Frank), Katherine Dallas (Kyle Skidmore), William R. Dallas, III, Kacie M. McLamb (Michael Saladino), and Matthew M. McLamb (Erin).  Great-grandmother to Preston and Sophia Quintero and Lawson Skidmore.  Her brother James McKenzie (Connie) of New Smyrna Beach, FL along with many nieces and nephews also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert McKenzie (Janet) of Gastonia, NC.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 18th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Agatha Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville with Fr. Andrew Boyd as Celebrant.  The wearing of masks is required.

Interment will be private in St. Agatha Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seton Catholic School, 385 Pine St., Meadville, PA 16335 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

The arrangements have been entrusted to the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where memories and condolences may be shared at www.waidfuneralhome.net.
