Mary M. Sciallo

Mary M. Sciallo, 65, of 672 Graff Ave., died Wed. May 21, 2003, at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, following an extended illness.

She was born April 11, 1938, in Fenwick, Scotland, a daughter of John and Janet McLauchlan Watson.  She married John Sciallo June 12, 1961 and he preceded her in death March 21, 1996.

She had been employed first as a school crossing guard for 11 years, at First District School, and then for John Cocolin for 11 years at the Campus Grill at Allegheny College.

She especially enjoyed her dog, Lucky, and her grandchildren.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Elaine Johnson and her husband Todd, of Shoemakersville, 3 sons, Mark D. Sciallo and his wife Debbie, of Gainesville, FL, Michael J. Sciallo and his wife Kim, of Lake City, and Joseph E. Sciallo and his wife Carolyn, of Meadville, 6 grandchildren, Ryan Johnson, Kelli Johnson, John William Sciallo, Joshua Sciallo, Justin Sciallo and Jonathan Sciallo and 2 sisters, Jenny Robertson and Morag McKinven both of Scotland.

She was preceded in death by 1 brother Charles and 1 sister Ena.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 10a.m. until 12 noon, at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc. 581 Chestnut St. with the funeral service to follow at 12 noon.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Vernon Twp.
