Mary Oakes Hatch

June 27, 1862 — January 1, 1753

Mrs. Mary Oakes Hatch, 85, died at the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. Raymond Forbes  of Meadville, following a long period of failing health.

She had lived in Meadville the past 24 years, coming here from Black Ash.  She was a member of Grace Methodist Church and Mrs. Jenkinss Bible Class.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Forbes and Mrs. William McIlroy of Wayne Township; two grandsons, Edson J. Noel of Canton, OH and Myron Wilson of Wayne Township and a great-grandchild.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Black Ash Cemetery.
