Mary Scott

Mrs. Mary Scott, 74, formerly of Oklahoma, died Monday, August 9, 1971, at Spencer Hospital after a sudden illness.  She had been residing at the Methodist Home for the Aged for the past two weeks.

Mrs. Scott was born at Parker, April 11, 1897, a daughter of Frank P. and Rebecca Byerly Stiffey.  She was the widow of the Rev. Paul K. Scott, who was a Methodist minister for 33 years in the former Erie Conference of the Methodist Church.  The Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Scott served several churches in NW PA.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Vivian Jones of Midwest City, OK.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Eau Claire Cemetery, Butler County.
