Mary Stephens

Mary Stephens, 85, of Meadville, died Friday, June 23, 2000 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born in Titusville, December 8, 1914, a daughter of Frank and Estelle Hasbrouck Kerr.  She married Milton L. Stephens, May 9, 1939 and he preceded her in death January 17, 1987.

She was a graduate of Titusville High School and she was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.  She was also devoted to her family.

Survivors include two sons, Roger K. Stephens of Madison, WI and Bruce M. Stephens of Swarthmore, PA; two brothers, Rulin Kerr of Titusville and Reid Kerr also of Titusville; a grandson, Mark B. Stephens; a granddaughter, Jennifer Chisar; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Neil Kerr, Harold Kerr and Marion Kerr.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
