Mary Stevenson Griffiths

Mrs. Mary Stevenson Griffiths, 78, wife of Dr. Earle A. Griffiths, of Meadville, died Thursday, April 10, 1958, at her home where she had lived about two years.

She was born May 11, 1880, at Pocomoke City, MD, a daughter of Riley M. and Elizabeth Merrill Stevenson.  She married Dr. Griffiths October 18, 1905, at Pocomoke City and moved to Meadville the same year.  They had lived here since, except for 10 years spent in Titusville.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was a charter member of the Spanish American War Veterans Aux.  She also was a charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Aux. and at one time was active on the Ladies Advisory Board of City Hospital.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a nieces and a nephew.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
