Mary Thornton

December 24, 1881 — January 1, 1753

Mrs. Mary Thornton, 53, died Tuesday night at her home near Guys Mills.  She was the wife of Thomas F. Thornton.

Although most her life was spent in McKeesport, she had been a resident of Randolph Township the past 11 years.

She was a member of St. Cecelia's R. C. Church at Glassport.

Besides her husband, she is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Harry Williams of Meadville, Mrs. Jacob DeRemer and Mrs. Glenn Schade, both of Guys Mills, Misses Helen, Anastasia and Regina, at home; three sons, Martin and Thomas, Jr. of Townville and Laurence of Meadville; three sisters, Mrs. John McKeeta, Mrs. W. A. Joyce and Mrs. Joseph Thomas of McKeesport; three brothers, Joseph Faix of Glassport and John and Jake Faix, both of McKeesport and six grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery, Frenchtown.
