Mary Velma Scott, 75, of Meadville, was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident on Liberty Street between Linden and Clark streets on Saturday afternoon.
She was born in Kent, OH, a daughter of William Edward and Betsy Woodard Wood. She married Ira W. Scott in 1972. He survives.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three sons, Gerald L. Kegley, Leslie W. Smith and Arnold R. Smith, all of Meadville; three daughters, Mrs. Timothy (Donna) Slaughter and Emma Jane Young, both of Meadville and Mrs. Alvin (Betty) Crum of Franklin; two half sisters, Idafern Wagner of Sugar Lake and Betty Wagner of New York; a brother, Edgar Wood of Washington state; seventeen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and one half-brother.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Denny's Cemetery.
