Marylin J. Fulmer, 90, of Polk, PA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
Marylin was born at home in Maple Grove, Mineral Twp., Venango Co., PA on October 16, 1933 to the late Robert A. and Hazel D. (Campbell) Love. She was a 1952 graduate of Sandy Lake High School. She married the love of her life, Chester Lee Fulmer, on August 5, 1956. The happy couple built their new home and planned a future filled with the making of many happy memories, but Lee’s untimely death on July 17, 1958, brought great sorrow to Marylin.
She was employed by the A&P Store in Sandy Lake for three years, and then Riverside in Franklin for 32 years where she retired in 1988. Before her retirement, she helped care for her parents when they became elderly as she continued her employment. Marylin enjoyed traveling in her RV, camping at interesting vacation locations with her family and friends. She also loved making a variety of crafts and putting together large puzzles. She was a member of the Emmanuel Christian Church in Stoneboro, PA.
Marylin is survived by her nephew, David Love, and their family, of Polk, PA, her great-niece, Jamie (Kevin) Thompson, her great-nephew,Robert “Buddy” Love, and many great nieces and nephews and their families.
Along with her husband, Marylin was preceded in death by her twin sister, Meriam, at birth, her parents; her brother, Robert Love, her sister-in-law, Joan Love, a nephew, Randy S. Love, a great-nephew, Randy S. Love, and two brother-in-laws, Charles R. Fulmer and Russel Fulmer.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin St. Stoneboro, PA 16153. Services will be private.
