Maude B. Hickernell

June 14, 1865 — January 1, 1753

Mrs. Maude B. Hickernell, 74, widow of Fred G. Hickernell, died very suddenly early Sunday morning at her home.

Mrs. Hickernell had been in failing health the past two years but had been occupied with her regular duties Saturday at the Masonic Temple here where she had been employed the past 12 years as elevator operator.

Mrs. Hickernell was born at Riceville and  in early life moved to Edinboro where she attended and graduated at the State Teachers College, afterwards teaching in the public schools of Erie County.  She lived the greater part of her life at Edinboro and Conneaut, OH.

She was a member of Grace Methodist Church and of Mrs. Cares' class of the Sunday School.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harry G. Coon of Conneautville and a brother, Karl Baldwin of Ashtabula, OH.

Interment was in Conneaut, OH.
