Maude M'Millin Gerow

March 26, 1873 — January 20, 1964

Mrs. Maude M'Millin Gerow, 90, who lived at the Home for the Aged on Williamson Road, died at Smith Institute Saegertown, Monday, January 20, 1964, after a long illness.

She was born at Lincolnville, March 26, 1873, a daughter of James and Angie Showers Porter.  After the death of her first husband, Frank G. McMillin, she married Herbert Gerow who also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Gerow was a member of First Presbyterian Church and of the Priscilla Class of its Sunday School.  She was a charter member of the Thesaurus Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Eva Haas Thompson of Meadville; a son, F. William McMillin of Dhahran, Saudi Arabia; two grandsons, David McMillin of Morristown, NJ and Brian McMillin, a student at Thiel College; one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.
