Maude S. Garfield

Maude S. Garfield, 81, of Wesbury United Methodist Community, died Sunday, July 6, 1986, at Wesbury, following a period of failing health.

She was born in Guys Mills, November 25, 1904, a daughter of John R. and Minnie May Boyles.  She married G. Dewey Garfield, December 8, 1928.  He died June 2, 1980.

Mrs. Garfield was employed in the circulation department at the Meadville Tribune for 12 years.  She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Edward (Leda) Fry of Lake Orion, MI; two nieces and one nephew.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Martin.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
