Maude Staley Wasson

Mrs. Maude Staley Wasson, 89, of Meadville, died Thursday, October 9, 1958, at her home.  She was the widow of Harry Clinton Wasson, former county treasurer.

She was born in Hayfield Township June 1, 1869, a daughter of Charles and Minerva Noble Staley.  She married Wasson September 27, 1889.

She was a member of Stone Methodist Church, its Beacon of Light Class and the Women's Society of Christian Service.

Survivors include two daughters, Miss Laura M. Wasson at home and Mrs. Jennie Peters of Columbus, OH; two sons, Stanley H. of Meadville and H. Carl of Franklin; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
