Max A. Deeter

Max A. Deeter, 53, of Santa Ana, CA, died unexpectedly at 6 AM Sunday, June 2, 1963, at his home.  He had been in ill health since suffering a fall about two years ago.

Mr. Deeter was born in Canal Township, Venango County, June 17, 1909, a son of William J. and Lula Shoemaker Deeter.

Until recently he had been engaged in the hardware and construction business in California.

Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Earl (Winifred) Wood of Franklin, Mrs. Joseph (Jean) Dietl of Youngstown and Mrs. D. E. (Beatrice) Wright and Mrs. V. W. (Frances) of Eiler, Sr., both of Meadville; five brothers, S. Blaine of Dunedin, FL, Clair L. of Pittsburgh, Victor A. and Elwood B., both of Franklin, and Paul W. of Arlington, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Peters Cemetery, Canal Township, Venango County.
