May B. Arnold

May B. Arnold, 74, of Meadville, died Wednesday, December 18, 1968, at Spencer Hospital following a brief illness. She had been a patient at the hospital for 10 days. She was born in Jefferson County, PA August 11, 1894, a daughter of Fred S. and Mary Jane Smith Gross. She was married to Ernest 'Shorty' Arnold June 10, 1919. Mrs. Arnold was a registered nurse and served in both Corry and Greenville hospitals before her marriage. She was a member of Blooming Valley United Methodist Church and a member of its Women's Society of Christian Service. She graduated from both Brockway High School and Kane General Hospital School of Nursing in Kane. She also was a member of Blooming Valley Cemetery Auxiliary. Surviving, besides her husband, are one niece and two nephews. Two brothers and one sister died previously. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home with Rev. Donald C. Horton of Blooming Valley United Methodist Church. Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery. Services Past Services
