Mellie Popeney Gandelot

August 2, 1877 — January 1, 1753

Mrs. Mellie Popeney Gandelot, 64, wife of Edward M. Gandelot of Black Ash, died early Wednesday morning at Spencer Hospital.  She had been an invalid for many years.

Mrs. Gandelot spent her entire life in Randolph Township and was a member of St. Hippolyte's Roman Catholic Church and the Sunshine Club.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Leda Hargenrader of Guys Mills; two sons, Nelson and Harold at home; a sister, Mrs. Louis Echnoz of Meadville and three grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
