Melva M. Mook

Mrs. Melva M. Mook, 76, of Saegertown, died Friday, November 5, 1876, at the Crawford County Home after an illness of two years.  She had been a patient at the home for two years.

Born in Greenville November 26, 1899, she was a daughter of Stuart and Ella McMullen Mitchell.  She was the widow of Guy W. Mook who died in 1954.  Mrs. Mook was employed in the housekeeping department of City Hospital for 27 years and was a member of the Watson Run United Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Melvin W. Mook of Saegertown; a sister, Miss Mabel Mitchell of Greenville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Stevenson Cemetery, Mercer County.
