Merle Graff, 55, of Reseda, CA, died Wednesday, February 5, 1975, after a long illness.
Born in Meadville, November 12, 1919, he was a son of Merle C. and Mary Elizabeth Sewell Graff. He first wife, Clara Woodruff, died in 1945. He married Sara J. Wolff December 1947. She died in September 1974.
After attending Meadville schools, he was employed by the Westinghouse plant at Meadville before moving to California in 1953 to become employed by Bendix Corp.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Daryl (Arlene) Easter of Thousand Oaks, CA; a step-son, Fred Thompson, Jr. of Pittsburgh; four sisters, Mrs. F. W. (Myrtle) Parker and Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Patterson, both of Meadville, Mrs. Eva Regan of West Roxbury, MA and Mrs. Flavia Camaratta of San Fernando, CA; three grandchildren and one step-granddaughter.
A sister, Julia, preceded him in death.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
