Mertie D. Fuller

Mrs. Mertie D. Fuller, 87, died at the Methodist Home for the Aged, North Park Avenue, Monday, January 31, 1966.

She and her husband, the Rev. Mr. Fuller, had lived at the home since October 1958.

Mrs. Fuller was born at Hannibal, Oswego County, NY, July 14, 1878, a daughter of George and Jane Wilbur Dann.  She taught school for several years before her marriage August 24, 1902.  She and her husband lived in northern New York State, Strattonville, Lander and Jamestown, PA, where he served Methodist Churches.  Upon the Rev. Mr. Fuller's retirement in 1948, they lived for 10 years at Canisteo, NY.

Before her marriage, Mrs. Fuller was a member of Bowens Corners Methodist Church near Fulton, NY, where she was church organist and a teacher in the Church school.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Adnah Cemetery.
