Michael Catalino

Michael Catalano, 89, of Meadville, a retired hospital maintenance employee, died Wednesday, May 13, 1992, at Wesbury United Methodist Community after an extended illness.

He was born in Tarentum, Allegheny County, October 13, 1902, a son of Anthony and Angeline Mecuro Catalano.  He married Rose Tantillo in 1926.  She preceded him in death in 1970.

He retired from the Spencer Hospital maintenance department after 28 years of service.  He was a member of Christian Assembly Church of Greenville.  He served in the US Army from 1918 to 1920.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Richard (Anne) Leidy of Greenville, Mrs. John (Gerry) Genovesi of Greenville, Roselyn Catalano of Fort Richey, FL, Mrs. William (Sylvia) Mesarch of Meadville and Deborah Catalano of Meadville; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
