Mrs. Mildred D. Miller, 67, wife of Ralph H. Miller of Meadville, was dead on arrival at City Hospital late Friday, May 1, 1981, after a sudden illness.
She was born at Meadville, July 12, 1913, a daughter of Earl and Pearl Taylor Boyle. She married Miller on September 15, 1934.
She had been employed as a seamstress for the former Crawford Store.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and the church's women's guild. She was also a member of City Hospital Aux., Golden Crown Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include five daughters, Mrs. Richard (Polly) Edwards of Virginia Beach, Mrs. James (Marilyn) Choffel and Mrs. Allan (Joan) Thompson, both of Sharon, Mrs. Edwin (Carol) Grove of Guys Mills and Mrs. Ronald (Elaine) Barnes of Meadville; a son, Ralph H., Jr. of Unadella, NY; one sister, Mrs. Lew (Ruth) Walton of Meadville; two brothers, Edward and Donald Boyle, both of Meadville; twenty-two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother and son.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
