Mildred G. King

Mildred G. King, 84, of 879 Lafayette Street, Meadville died Monday, July 14, 2008 at Hamot Medical Center, Erie.

She was born in Erie, September 12, 1923 a daughter of Robert and Grace Flint Humphrey.  She married George E. “Hi” or “Jack” King October 3, 1942 and he preceded her in death January 24, 2007.

She worked in the classified advertising department of the Meadville Tribune for 20 years retiring in 1981.  She was a member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church.

Survivors, include: two sons, Edward H. King and his wife Regina of Saegertown and Robert A. King and his wife Judy of Erie; five grandchildren, Rachel, Amanda, Sara, Jason and Rich and two great grandchildren, Aubree and Madeline.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine Street, Meadville with Fr. Ray Gramata as Celebrant.

Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.
