Mildred Pierce

Mrs. Mildred Pierce, 67, of Meadville, died at City Hospital Monday evening, February 19, 1973, after an illness of three months.

She was born in Meeadville, January 16, 1906, a daughter of George A. and Mary Brandon Lawyer.  On December 21, 1935, she married Walter H. Pierce who died in 1967.  Mrs. Pierce was employed in the credit office of the Crawford Store.  She was a member of Park Congregational Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Joan) Smallenberger of North Olmstead, OH; two sisters, Mrs. C. L. (Margaret) Jeunet of Meadville and Mrs. Charles (Pauline) Monnie of Pittsburgh; three brothers, George Lawyer of Youngstown, Donald Lawyer of Mineral Ridge, OH and Russell Lawyer of Terre Haute, IN; one grandson, Trond Smallenberger; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
