Mildred (Mickey) Spaulding

December 21, 1905 — January 19, 1987

Mildred (Mickey) Spaulding, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since October 1985, died Monday, January 19, 1987, at Wesbury United Methodist Community following a brief illness.

She was born in Woodcock Borough, a daughter of A.X. and Mary (Mayme) Beach Bideaux.

She had first taught school in Woodcock Borough and then in Woodcock Township Schools.  For many years, she had been employed at the library at Allegheny College.

She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church and the church's Methodist Women.  She was a graduate of Cambridge Springs public schools and of the former Edinboro State Normal School.  She had been a member of the Ladies Advisory Committee for the former City Hospital.  She was a member of the Business and Professional Women Club and was a long-time volunteer at Wesbury.

She is survived by a brother, Merle F. (Bink) Bideaux of Woodcock Borough; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and George.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cambridge Cemetery.
