Mildred M. (Millie) (Richardson) Wampler

Mildred M. (Millie) Wampler, 88, of Meadville and a resident of Rolling Fields died there Sunday, February 24, 2019.

She was born in Logansport, IN February 18, 1931.  She married Shannon Lee Wampler July 13, 1979 and he preceded her in death August 15, 2016.

She at one time was co-owner of the former State Line Bowling and had also worked at Saegertown Manufacturing.  She and her husband were avid bowlers and enjoyed playing euchre.

She is survived by two sons, Daniel Smith (Kathy) of Burnettsville, IN and Ken Smith, Sr. (Gayle) of Pekin, IN two stepsons, John S. Wampler of Blooming Valley and Eric B. Wampler of St. Petersburg, FL; six grandchildren, Kenny Smith, Jr., Ryan Smith, James Smith, Edward Smith, Edward Smith, Jr. and Jodie Warden and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Edward Smith, Sr.

The graveside service will be Friday, March 1st at 10:30 a.m. in Greendale Cemetery, 700 Randolph St., Meadville with Rev. Dave Brumagin, officiating.
