Miles Robert Ross

Miles Robert Ross, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Miles D. Ross of Meadville, died of cancer at Spencer Hospital Saturday.

He had been a patient at the hospital since January and previously was in Hamot Hospital, Erie and Greenville Hospital.

An only child, he was born October 11, 1939, at Latrobe.  He attended East End School and played basketball.  He also was an expert archer, having bagged his first deer with bow and arrow in 1957.

He was a member of the senior class of Saegertown Area High School until Christmas of 1957.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Meadville.

Surviving in addition to his parents include several aunts and uncles.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
