Milford A. (Muff) Waid

Milford A. (Muff) Waid, 57, of Meadville, died suddenly Friday, September 5, 1986, at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born in Guys Mills, February 3, 1929, a son of Clarence A. and Maude E. Hammond Waid.  He married Helen Louise Smith, October 17, 1950.

Mr. Waid retired from National Fuel Gas as a corrosion specialist after 28 years of service.  He was a member of the Pioneer Steam and Gas Engine Society.

Survivors include his wife, four sons, Ronald A. Waid of Vernon, CT, Robert D. Waid of Oakdale, MN, Larry D. Waid of Meadville and Timothy Waid at home; an aunt; several nieces, nephews and cousins and three granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Pratt.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Smith Cemetery.
