Milo J. Slater, 35, of Meadville, was killed after he stepped from the curb on Smock Bridge into the path of a car.
He was born in Meadville, April 3, 1937, a son of George and Flora Cornell Slater. He had previously been employed as a farm hand near Atlantic. He attended Meadville schools.
Survivors include his mother of Erie; a sister, Mrs. Leo (Hazel) Walter of Meadville; an aunt, Mrs. Mary Dinkeldine of Cochranton and several cousins.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Crawford County Home Cemetery, Saegertown.
