Minnie D. Luckie, 95, of Meadville, PA went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, November 4, 2011 at her residence.
She was born August 15, 1916 in Marked Tree, Arkansas, a daughter of Rance and Minnie Martin Duke. She married Henry E. Luckie and he preceded her in death in 1972.
Minnie was a tailor in Cleveland for many years.
A devout Christian, she was a member of Crossroads Mission Church, Cochranton.
Survivors include nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard, Frank, and James Duke; two sisters, Lillie Mae Pugh, and Katie Bell Goree; and a half-brother, Waldorf Duke.
Calling hours will be Sunday, November 6th from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville. Additional calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the E.F. Boyd Funeral Home and Crematory, 2165 E. 89th St., Cleveland, OH.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, 8869 Cedar Ave., Cleveland.
Interment will be in Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland.
