Minnie S. Derfus

June 9, 1872 — January 1, 1753

Mrs. Minnie S. Derfus, widow of John Derfus, of Meadville, died early Tuesday at her home following an illness of several weeks.

She was a member of Park Avenue Congregational Church and the Missionary Society and Friendly Class.  She also was a member of Meadville Grange and was once active on the board of directors of the Young Woman's Christian Assn.

She is survived by four daughters, Misses Marguerite and Kathryn Derfus at home; Mrs. Carl Vatter of Franklin and Mrs. Edward Michel of Syracuse, NY; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
