Miriam Lucille Senior

Miriam Lucille Senior, 90, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since 1998 and formerly of Timbercrest Apartments, Meadville and Bradford, PA, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

She was born in Kane, PA, May 17, 1910 a daughter of Samuel and Mabyle Adams Alaskey.  She married William Senior and he preceded her in death, April 7, 1990.

She was of the Methodist faith and loved camping, fishing and hunting.

Survivors, include a daughter, Janet Gard (David) of Findley Lake, NY; a son, Richard Senior (Leora) of Bloomington, CA; a sister, Kathryn Blakeslee of Erie; three step-brothers, Sam, Ronald and Gerald Alaskey, all of Johnsonburg, PA; nine grandchildren, Michael Brace (Grace) of Meadville, Dr. Patricia Brace of Marshall, MN, Diane King of Meadville, Robert Brace (Trina) of Meadville; Gail Percy (Michael) of Columbus, PA, Tracy Galonga (Michael) of California and Debra Senior, Mick Senior and Rose Senior, all of Washington; twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Master Sgt. Kenneth Senior and a daughter, Nancy Kay Brace.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in McKean Memorial Park, Mt. Alton, PA.
