Mitchell Kosanovic

Mitchell Kosanovic, 77, of Indiana, PA since 1997, and formerly of Guys Mills, died Friday December 11, 1998 at the home of his daughter following an illness of several years.

He was born in Aliquippa, PA, May 16, 1920 a son of Branko and Savka Milanovich Kosanovic.  He married Eloise Boyd, May 2, 1959.  She survives.

He retired in 1981 from Talon as a pipe fitter after 25 years of service.  He was a member of United Evangelical Free Church of Guys Mills, Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local #47 and he was a veteran of World War II with the US Army.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Kay Damico (Peter) of Indiana, PA; a son, Richard Kosanovic (Amy) of Lexington, SC; two sisters, Natalie Carter of Evans City, PA and Shoy Campbell of Richmond, VA; three brothers, Joseph Kosanovic of Ferndale, CA, Robert Kosanovic of Meadville and George Kosanovic of Seattle, WA; and three grandchildren, Zachary and Abby Damico and Kaitlin Kosanovic.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Anne and a brother, Edward.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
