Myrna K. Guianen, 75, of Centerville, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, September 18, 2010 at St. Mary's Home of Erie following a short illness.
She was born in Erie, March 27, 1935 a daughter of Elmer and Marie Zimmer. She married Ronald C. Guianen, Sr. May 22, 1954 and he preceded her in death April 19, 2008.
She was a graduate of the former Academy High School in Erie. She was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles, enjoyed country living, spending time with her family and caring for her many animals.
Survivors, include: four children, Ronald C. Guianen, Jr. and his wife Jill of Erie, Dawn Guianen and her husband Bill Russell of Louisville, KY, Mark Guianen of Erie and Chris Guianen and his wife Becky of Centerville; five grandchildren, Jason Guianen of Meadville, Brittany Guianen of Charlotte, NC, Michelle Guianen of Erie, Joshua Heister and Jordan Guianen both of Florida and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Heister and a son, Jeff Guianen.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dave Brumagin, Chaplain of Meadville Medical Center, officiating.
