Myron Edgar Wilson

Myron Edgar Wilson, 75, of Guys Mills, died at Meadville Medical Center, Wednesday, June 6, 1990, after a long illness.

He was born in East Conneaut, OH, October 25, 1914, a son of Joseph F. and Rose Quaile Wilson.  He was raised by his foster parents, William and Jennie McIroy.  He married Twila Shoey May 18, 1940.  She survives.

He was retired from the maintenance department of the former Meadville Nursing Home.  He was a member of the United Evangelical Free Church of Guys Mills.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three daughters, Mrs. Edward (Elaine) Koket and Christine Wilson, both of Guys Mills and Mrs. John (Carolyn) Bernoski of Saegertown; one son, Gerald L. Wilson of Salt Lake City, UT; a sister, Doris Luce of Garrettsville, OH; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, C. Glenn Wilson; a sister, Mrs. John (Martha) Smith and a granddaughter, Sondra Peterson.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
