Myrtle Estella Poly, 80, of 30085 State Hwy. #27, Guys Mills, PA died Saturday, February 1, 2003 at the Meadville Medical Center following a short illness.

She was born in Nebraska (Warren Co.), PA February 23, 1922 a daughter of Walter and Anna Irwin Hulings.  She married William F. Poly October 28, 1950 and he survives.

She retired in 1983 from the Processing Dept. of Avtex Fibers Inc. after 32 years of service and she was a member of St. Hippolyte Roman Catholic Church.

She especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

Survivors, in addition to her husband of 52 years, include a daughter, Karen Dick and her husband James of Cochranton; a son, F. Rex Poly of Guys Mills; a sister, Mary Battin and her husband Wayne of Meadville and three grandchildren, Jenna Marie Dick, Adam William Dick and Travis James Dick.  She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dora Prather and Twila Miller and three brothers, Orville, Norville and Harold Hulings.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, with Scripture prayer service at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Hippolyte Roman Catholic Church, State Rt. #27, Frenchtown, PA with the Rev. B. Lamont Sayers, as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to the St. Hippolyte Roman Catholic Church Building Fund, 25997 State Hwy. #27, Guys Mills, PA 16327.
