Nancy Belle Kahle

Mrs. Nancy Belle Kahle, 96, a resident of the Methodist Home for the Aged for 15 years, died there Thursday, May 14, 1970, after an illness of three years.

She was born in Heath Township, Jefferson County, November 11, 1873, a daughter of Robert and Marietta Elrod Wolford.  She was the widow of Calvin R. Kahle whom she married May 7, 1895.

Mrs. Kahle was a member of Sigel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James P. (Madge H.) Winslow of Brookville and Mrs. James (Keith) Wheeler of New Castle; one son, Erle W. Kahle of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kahletown Cemetery, Clarion County.
