Nancy Jeanne Stutzman, 61, of Little Cooley, died Saturday, May 11, 1996 at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, following an extended illness.
She was born in Erie, August 25, 1934, a daughter of the late Archie and Leola Pifer Morehouse. She married David L. Stutzman December 23, 1956. He survives.
She was a 1952 graduate of Union High School, Girard and a 1956 graduate of Mansfield State Teachers College with a BS in Home Economics. She taught school in Cambridge Springs for several years and subsequently was a substitute teacher in several area school districts. She was co-owner Indian Run Country and Stutzman Lumber Co. of Little Cooley. She was a member of North American Game Bird Assn., life member of the National Rifle Assn. and a member of the American Assn. of University Women. She had been an active member of Little Cooley United Methodist Church.
Survivors, in addition to her husband include one daughter, Candyce Ann Stutzman of Little Cooley; a sister, Mrs. John (Linda) Penter of Alto Loma, CA and two nieces.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
