Nancy Mae Gallo

Nancy Mae (Carpenter) Gallo, 80, of Mercer, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on July 24, 1941 in Clarksburg, WV; a daughter of the late Rupert Bernard Carpenter and Phoebia Evelyn Carpenter. Nancy worked for the Mercer Sheetz for many years as a Manager until her retirement. Survivors left to cherish her memory are her children: Jamie E. Gallo of Mercer, Lisa M. Liedel (Brad) of Bristow, VA, Nancy M. Beighley (Perry) of Mercer, and James C. Gallo (Kim) of Mercer; grandchildren: Victoria K. Heckman (Michael) of Hermitage, Dakota J. Gallo (Chelsea Barkley) of Grove City, and Andrea N. Pettigrew (Jeff Shreve) of Grove City; great-grandchildren: Lexi, Leyton, and Livie Shreve; sibling, Louise Murel Anderson; Sister-in-law, Caroline Carpenter, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Rupert B. Carpenter and Jack Carpenter; and sisters, Mary Jane Anderson and Ethel Auchie Smega. The family would especially like to thank Helping Hands: Heidi Stafford, Stephania Worona, and Samantha Felix and Home Care Hospice.
