Naomi Lang

May 22, 1886 — May 23, 1971

Mrs. Naomi Lang, 85, formerly of Guys Mills, died Sunday evening, May 23, 1971, at City Hospital.  She had resided at the Methodist Home for the Aged for the past three years.

She was born in Jefferson County on May 22, 1886, a daughter of John and Mary J. Daniels Snyder.  She was the widow of William J. Lang whom she married on June 4, 1907.  He died on February 14, 1965.  Mr. and Mrs. Lang operated a farm in Randolph Township until 1957.  Mrs. Lang was a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church and its Woman's Society of Christian Service and of Randolph Grange.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Kathryn) Underwood and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Sikes, both of Meadville; a son, Neal Lang of Guys Mills; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Burdette) Lang of Guys Mills; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
